Our co-founder, Suman Siva, decided on the name while at his last job while researching the experiences space and finding that few of them elicited a sense of discovery.
Along the way he felt that by creating an experiences company, we were obligated to help customers discover the best hosts and experiences out there.
Some people don’t know that Marco Polo, in addition to being a childhood pool game, was a European explorer who spent 25 years on the Silk Road in modern-day Asia. He chronicled his journey, allowing Europeans to discover Eastern culture. Here at Marco Experiences, we’re helping customers discover the best experiences they never would have been able to otherwise, while also helping creators and hosts build new audiences.
